The subtle up and back angle made everything better on my GIANT Escape 2 Hybrid. I was between them and the 3.5" riser bars. I am very happy that I made this choice. It doesn't change much in terms of looks (risers definitely make the bike look different) and the combination of angle and rise makes for a drastic increase in comfort! No more numbness in wrists and hands! Easy to install - just remove the grips, brakes and switches, then replace them in the same order. The only tool needed is a set of allen wrenches (at least for my bike). Bargain! Thanks very much!
