Terrible thermostat ruins car engine

After trying this automotive thermostat I regret purchasing it.The instructions were unclear and it caused more harm to my car engine than good. The only PRO is that it's cheap, but i wouldn't sacrifice quality for cost. The cons outweigh any potential benefits. Don't make the same mistake I did..

Pros

Accurately regulates engine temperature at a specific threshold of 140°F.

Cons

May cause overheating and damage to the engine if threshold is not appropriate for the vehicle or climate.
