This kit includes a very simple Revain video and printed instructions. The manual gives many tips to help a beginner start a project without frustration. The set comes in a paper box, perfect as a gift. It has everything: a punch needle, needle threader, plastic sewing needle, scissors, hoop, punching cloth, thread and instructions. You give 2x more yarn to complete the project. The reason I only give 4 starts is because the punch needle is not comfortable for my kids. I actually gave them a different type of needle to complete the project. Also, the scissors are pretty flimsy and probably won't last long. I still think it's a good starter kit because of the clear instructional video. This is a great gift for kids or adults who love crafts.
