Review on Philips ICN4P32N 4F17 F32 Lighting Ballast by Rusty Calcara

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect combination, works great!

Shipped to me very quickly! I ordered this for a large top 4 fluorescence fixture in my kitchen .I knew something was wrong when all 4 of the bulbs went out at the same time and there was nothing wrong with a switch or light switch leading to that light. As I had never changed a ballast before (but had heard of the term ), I decided to try it myself but I have a disability so it took me a little longer than someone in better physical shape than me, but I got the job done after watching the instructions on a YouTube video. Most important is to mark the connecting wire and draw a diagram after removing the ballast, you will actually cut the wires if the ballast has not been replaced beforehand if there are no wire connectors i had some wires not cut and others were cut Another difficulty was opening and latching the latches and top cover. The removal of the fluorescent tubes turned out to be a bit tricky due to the proximity to the ballast and the rear wall. I used some zip ties to tie all the wires together before tucking them into the center cover - this was also a little tricky when working with my hands in the air and on the step stool. Probably nothing to do at all for someone younger and used to doing this sort of thing. I was so relieved when I connected everything and turned on the switch. Then the light went on! Be sure to check that the light is working before replacing any covers. You don't want to break everything if there is a wrong or bad connection. The entire project is in the medium complexity category.
