After a week of use, the glue no longer sticks.
Worked very well for the first week. It took a little getting used to putting it in the spring-loaded mounts and removing it the same way, but it quickly becomes apparent that this is the best way to handle the fixation. But after about a week the glue stopped sticking and now it just sits in my back seat and taunts me. I don't know if it was the surface it was applied to, the dashboard of my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee which isn't particularly porous, or if exposure to direct sunlight caused a loss of grip.
