When I first opened the box I was amazed by the color and design BUT this beauty started staining my kitchen counter as soon as I poured water in it! The color spread, leaving thick rings that were difficult to remove. This is madness. Don't they check these things? JoyJolt makes unique and beautiful glassware. It's not cheap, perhaps deserved if the jars actually hold liquids rather than being tinted. But not in my case. I didn't want to experiment with the other five to see if the same thing happens. Maybe when I feel like rubbing again. I could check them in the sink, but even then I wouldn't trust them. I bought them to look pretty while holding some items, so I put another one (dry) on the bathroom shelf to hold cotton swabs, makeup applicators, useful and pretty. I'd say if you want six light-up 2-ounce shot glasses to brighten up your kitchen or wine cabinet, buy them after you've lined your shelf. The colors are concentrated at the base, and when you look inside, the entire length glows in that color. But if you really want to use them, my advice is to look elsewhere.
