Review on 🧦 Sockwell Women's Incline Quarter Sock with Moderate Compression by Josh Elkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect for hot weather

I love sockwell socks! I also have Chevron, On-the-Spot, and Circulator compression socks. So if this review helps you and you are interested in how these socks fit, check out my reviews. I have poor circulation due to weight gain while pregnant with two children. 20 years later my doctor told me that I have venous insufficiency and the valves in my leg veins are not working properly. I've been sentenced to wearing compression stockings that everyone knows are TERRIBLE, not to mention don't hold up well. If you are active, then you have to wear regular socks over the hose to wear athletic shoes, what a torture. Enter sockwell socks. They offer doctor-recommended compression, are stylish (look like regular socks), are easier to put on than stockings, and last longer. Just remember to wash in cold water and hang dry. Worth every penny and usually costs less than a nylon knee cuff. This shoe has slight cushioning on the soles of the feet, but I wish they were a little softer. If you have never bought this brand and are thinking about sizing, I wear 8 1/2 narrow shoes. According to the Sockwell size chart I should be large, but small/medium fits me perfectly. How they feel: EXCELLENT! I usually have to elevate my legs regularly for 30 minutes throughout the day to control swelling when I'm not wearing these socks and now I can go about my normal activities without worrying about swelling or circulation. Since Sockwell doesn't currently make cotton socks, I like this style for hot weather or to wear with shorts. I was concerned I wouldn't get enough compression as they don't reach to the knee, but I was pleasantly surprised. The socks held the swelling down the same way the knee did. As in the stock photo, mine sit just above the ankle, making them ideal for wearing with mid-height hiking boots. Try it yourself and see - all the great reviews are true!
