Satisfied with functionality

These socks are not the kind of compression stockings that can be used for long hikes or air travel. But that goes to show that these socks are great any time of year as they offer some of the compression and warmth that wool offers. I'm a fan of Sockwell compression socks.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Thin

Broke after two months of light use

Broke after wearing these lightweight hiking socks for two months. Very comfortable but worn in several places. For the money I spent on these socks I expected a lot more. I have bought other Sockwell compression stockings and have never had this problem.

Pros
  • Comrades
Cons
  • Out of style

What protection for ankles

One of my legs is slightly longer than the other. Because of this, I keep stepping on my foot. They give me the support I need to stabilize and prevent my ankle. I like the ankle length but have bought longer styles in the past. Everything is well made and beautiful.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not sure

Life changing socks!

I was SO excited to find out that sock Well made knee high compression stockings. I wear compression stockings or stockings every day and in summer the knee socks are too warm. Being short also makes them a little easier to put on (or I thought so). Highly recommended, have already ordered 2 more pairs.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • There are some nuances

but they are great everyday socks

Doesn't shrink as much as some of the longer sockwell socks (despite being the same size) but they are great boot socks for work days and a few notches above normal socks. I definitely notice less swelling and pain in my legs when I wear them 12 hours a day. My feet don't get too hot either, which was a concern for me due to the wool content. All in all I am a satisfied customer.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great summer socks to make your ankle/foot feel more secure

My fibula just above my ankle broke 8 months ago and I need something to support my ankle as it is still swollen. These socks work great. I consulted with Soquell to find out what sock height they currently recommend for my injury and they decided a quarter sock would be fine. So far, so good. I even wore this sock all night after a long day when my ankle was swollen. Of course, the ankle feels better! Good quality, washes well (I air dry them).

  • Boosts confidence

Sturdy and comfortable socks

I bought these socks on December 31st 2016 and they are still relevant in 2021! I danced A LOT of West Coast Swing before the pandemic and this was one of my favorite dance socks because it has a bit of arch support and cushioning. They stay in place and are comfortable. I also wear these socks for geocaching and hiking as well as around town. I probably wear them at least once a week from April to October to give you an idea of the durability. (I wear knee socks in the colder months.) I…

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

I've never loved socks so much.

I love these socks! I bought them to run. Last month I returned to running after taking a break due to an ankle injury. Before that I wore all the cheap athletic socks I could find. After coming back from an injury I decided to give my feet and ankles a treat and bought these socks. Wow! What difference do they make compared to regular general purpose socks? I've never felt this way about socks before. My friends are sick of me talking about how awesome they are, but I just can't stop (so I…

Perfect for hot weather

I love sockwell socks! I also have Chevron, On-the-Spot, and Circulator compression socks. So if this review helps you and you are interested in how these socks fit, check out my reviews. I have poor circulation due to weight gain while pregnant with two children. 20 years later my doctor told me that I have venous insufficiency and the valves in my leg veins are not working properly. I've been sentenced to wearing compression stockings that everyone knows are TERRIBLE, not to mention don't…
