Not at all calcareous and mixes very well. I use it to supplement my protein intake and also for post workout recovery. There are no complaints about it. I have tried many proteins and this one absorbs better. I don't feel uncomfortable afterwards, and even if it's late at night, it's fine. Very happy with it. The vanilla is only so-so, but at least it doesn't have that crazy artificial flavor. Also, it's a small business that's fairly local and needs to show them some love.
