Boys clothes seem to be the same as everyone else - no one size fits all across brands. My son needs 18-20 of most brands which are hard to find. I ordered two other pairs from Levi's and they were over a full size larger than they are. They slid down and rested on his hips and were quite baggy. Also, they're quite long - the inseam didn't measure. He is 5ft 3in tall and with the belt resting on his hips the length was 2 to 3 inches below the bottom of his knee which he didn't like. The material, quality and fittings were ok and I would recommend them if you like longer shorts and can get the right size.
