If you're looking for a bike rack for two bikes, I recommend the Allen Sports 4-Slot Bike Rack. Unfortunately, if you have 4 bikes, Allen does not have an 8 slot bike rack. Simple rule? Take the total number of bikes that the rack can hold, divide by two, and you get the number of bikes that can fit on the rack. In other words, if you don't want to fight the devil every time you want to take your bikes somewhere, I'd recommend a roomier bike rack. Seriously, you should be able to fit four bikes on a 4-slot bike rack, but expect trouble. In addition, bikes with a frame smaller than 17.5 inches will not fit in a luggage rack. Also note that crossing bikes (front wheel on the left, front wheel of the next bike on the right, etc.) is not possible. Finally, where the hitch connects to the receiver, there isn't a simple pin and clamp, but an anti-rattle nut and bolt that you have to tighten and loosen every time you want to remove the rack. As a layman, I would recommend a roomier bike, even if it costs a little more money.
