Since 125V 75W E11 socket bulbs are hard to find in my area, I've always opted for the "universal" packages at Revain. The previous two packages I bought (both from different vendors and both designed slightly differently) had issues. First roll of the dice: Half of the bulbs blew out right out of the box, the other half about a month later. Double checked before ordering another "brand" by running tests with a multimeter to ensure it wasn't an intermittent current flow. Confirmed that my lamp base is providing the correct voltage. Second roll of the dice: terrible. This pack was also installed and removed a week later because two of the bulbs had developed distinctly discolored/burned "bubbles" in the glass, indicating poor heat dissipation and/or imperfections in the glass. THIRD COPY: Now we come to these Lightbulbs.I installed and worked about 5 hours a day for the last week. The light output is excellent, no flickering, no delay in lighting at full light output. As with any standard (non LED) 125V 75W E11 they will get very hot are no foreign objects on them and it is best that they are protected by some type of glass in case anything falls into/onto the bulbs and it it is definitely not recommended to use them in a closed case. does not change, so the temperature and integrity of the lamp appear stable and accurate to their nominal values. As with any general purpose/budget lamp, you should keep an eye on it for a few days after you first install it. Turn them off when you're not home, just as a precaution. I've gotten to a point where I can now safely leave these lightbulbs on for long periods of time. Only time will tell if they are the true winners, but I'll keep my fingers crossed. I will update the observations once enough time has been applied to these bulbs.
