These plates definitely don't provide any portion control assistance for bariatric patients. I didn't specifically purchase them for that purpose, so they are fine for my needs, but they are not labeled in any way in regard to portions. Simply, they are divided plates which hold a normal amount of food, if not more. I use them for my youngest family members who are a little too young for paper plates, or for moving around with regular dinner plates in hand. They do have a persistent little sticker on the bottom of each plate. I guess eventually it will wash off. They have held up fine in my dishwasher after multiple use. They stack nicely and take up minimal space.
