Call me a fool but when this mouse arrived I first thought there was no USB chip because the blister on the back of the package was empty. I ordered another one but it was empty too. Then someone told me that the bubble on the back of the packaging for the CORD is on wired versions and that the USB chip is INSIDE the mouse, hidden in a niche next to the battery. It was like this. The fact that they use the same packaging for both versions baffled me, especially as there was no user guide for the location of the internal USB chip. The mouse is now working properly.
