As an artist and student I have spent a lot of time hunched over my desk over the past few years. It's only gotten worse since I started working from home - now I also spend a lot of time working on the couch. My posture has never been perfect, but my circumstances haven't helped lately, so I decided to give it a try. Right off the bat, I want to talk about sizes. I wear women's size 16/18 and took XL and they fit well. There are no complaints from me. As for wearing, there's no indication of what should be adjusted first. I put it on like a backpack, then buckled the main strap, then buckled the smaller straps, then tightened the shoulder straps. It works great for me and I found the installation quite intuitive. Structurally it is very well put together. The material is nice and thick, the stitching is good quality and strong, and the shoulder adjustment buckles hold securely. I was concerned that some of the tightest areas might be secured with velcro, but the velcro holds up well and won't unravel. Another reviewer mentioned the smell, and it smells a bit like exercise equipment. It doesn't bother me much and it seems to go away when I leave it. It's definitely worth mentioning, so be careful if you're sensitive to the smell. One thing I would wish for is stronger bones in the rear. I find it definitely helps my back, but stronger bones will go a long way as my back still rolls a bit in this one. The main area of posture correction here is the shoulders and I'm fine with that as my posture is terrible. However, because it's constantly pulling on your shoulders, it can start digging into your armpits and become a bit uncomfortable after wearing it for a long time. it's on. Despite its quirks, I consider it a good posture corrector and enjoy wearing it to work.
