I've had a few true California Car Dusters over the years and loved them all! I hoped they hadn't changed when I placed my order. When I received it, the new one did not disappoint! A few other reviewers mentioned excess wax and the rag leaving red particles. I haven't had any of these problems. I was actually going to let it air out on a paper towel pillow but after the first night there was no wax on the paper towels so I decided to give it a try. My truck was VERY dusty after being in my carport in California during the (heavy) fire season. Thus, the dust contained ash and soot. Rag performed like a champ! He removed the unpleasant layer that had settled without leaving streaks or red particles. I love these towels because they significantly increase the time between washes and make me feel good about driving again! However, one thing to note is that I ordered a rag with a plastic handle because I prefer lightweight plastic, but got a heavy wooden handle. In my case this wasn't a problem as I still had the plastic handle from my old rag and just replaced it. Buy this rag. You will not regret it!
