I love this carrier! I asked my cat to try it on for size. He felt so comfortable that he fell asleep in it in the middle of the living room. I have an old hard plastic box for my cat. For me it was time to upgrade. I have damaged nerves in my wrists and elbows. This boxy, awkward carrier was too heavy to carry. I've looked at a ton of different carriers (and there's a lot to choose from)! I chose the transport box from Ess & Craft. The backpack has padded handles and a detachable, padded shoulder strap. The shoulder strap takes most of my cat Ringo's weight off my wrists and shoulders. Ess & Craft contained many details. I like that most of the exterior is mesh. It's easy to see Ringo. Now my daughter won't try to turn the stroller over to see while we're driving! There's even a little zippered window on one side that she can pet him through without fear of him popping out. The stretcher is surprisingly large. My cat can stand in it and stretch. The stretcher has a soft fluffy bottom that is super soft and washable! Gone are the dirty, tangled, wobbly blankets I used to make him comfortable. There are small latches that secure the main zippers. They're tiny, but I'm a woman with short nails, so I didn't have a hard time getting them loosened. You had a great idea! And there are pockets for toys or treats. I have no plans to take Ringo on a plane. But it is good to know that this airline is airline approved. We take long car rides (sometimes 12 hours) on vacation. When we were away we always had someone to take care of Ringo. Now we can bring him knowing he will be comfortable and safe!
