Maybe it's just me, but these over-ear mics weren't made for my ears? Now I don't think my ears are too big and nobody has told me they are since 3rd grade, but I can never find an ear clip that doesn't cause friction or fatigue in my ears. This product was no different. The headband option saved the day for this phone. While not as comfortable as my Plantronics wired headband, it's close. Taking calls was easy and the audio was crisp and clear. I never checked the distance but ran about 70 feet with no problems. Using the device as a phone takes some getting used to. Each time you want to dial a number, you need to press the headset and then your phone's handset. Hanging up requires the same. I'm still struggling with the power on sequence of the first device. It doesn't help that I have a two-line phone, so I have to be very careful. No one has complained about the sound quality, but sometimes I hear my own voice echoing on my end of a call. If I had to do it again I think I would still buy it. This is much better than the Calisto device, which annoys me a lot. Dan
