Used as a backup light on a trailer. Note that most trailers don't have a dedicated reverse cable and you'll probably need to route the cable separately, as I did. The installation is quite easy. I used a 2-3/4" hole saw to drill the mounting hole. After that, connect the wires, press the grommet, connect the light (light is polarity sensitive so you may need to change the way how to connect it, reverse) and then press the light. Personally, my fit was a little looser than I'd like, so I add some silicone to make sure it doesn't fall out. The lighting is bright enough to be seen during the day If you are worried about the hole size, I suggest making test holes in hardboard before drilling the final mounting hole.
