They need some tweaking to work

I got them and installed them but they didn't work. This isn't my first install so I've started troubleshooting. Proved I had the power, but it still didn't work. I connected several jumpers to the battery and they caught fire. So I finally found out that the polarity was wrong. The connectors have a notch for snapping, but this is on the back. I hooked it up the other way around and they lit up right away. Not sure if I just have an odd batch or something, but they work. I fixed the plugs so they don't fall out. So basically they work, but with some modifications. Grand Prix 2007.
