This is a birthday present for my nephew who just turned 4! For the last 2 years he has been interested in the planets and solar system but lately he has been showing an interest in insects etc, digging holes in my parents' garden and pulling out worms and any other bugs he finds. I figured why not only make it fun but educational, so I bought it as one of his birthday gifts. I wish I could video tape him opening this gift as his reaction was priceless! He was so excited, and usually when he opens presents, he opens one, looks at it quickly, and then moves on to the next present, but not this time. He opened it, pulled it out piece by piece, looked at each piece and studied it thoroughly, then showed each piece to everyone in the room and told us what he plans to do in Nonnie's and Nonno's backyard the next day. He was so happy! I was a bit nervous about things being made cheap because unfortunately things aren't made the way they used to be BUT you don't have to worry about that with this purchase because my nephew has been with me for about 2 weeks his gift plays and no problems. If you are looking for a gift for a child who is interested in insects, digging up worms/bugs, playing in the garden, etc. then this is definitely for you. There's so much to do with all the cool stuff in this bag. You will not be disappointed!
