that needed replacing standard size bulbs in a 20ft ceiling fan. If the bulbs were firmly seated in the zip tie when the light was installed, you'll have trouble with this unit as well, but I got it to work. The design is a little too deep for regular 60 watt bulbs. I had to add paper towels - maybe a piece of tape at the bottom of the basket would be enough so I could position and support the new bulb properly for installation - without the extra padding the bulb would have slipped too far into the basket. Probably works best with newer CF bulbs and longer bulbs. It worked, but it took 5 minutes or more and a few tries - both uninstalling the old one and installing the new one. New bulb fitted with the switch on - and screwed in a little farther where the bulb glows. To make it easier for you to take off next time. It does its job and I don't know of any other way to do it.
