I confess that I haven't trimmed a candle wick in years. Now I do it every time. This will help the candle last longer and will reduce the amount of burnt wicks that will cool inside the candle making it look ugly. This trimmer does the job and is sharp. It has a certain weight, so it looks chic and sturdy. I can even trim wooden candle wicks with it. would recommend.
