These boots saved us last long Colorado winter. They are easy to put on and take off. There is no zipper, but the elastic loops are easy to open and tighten. We just keep them the same length. my child loves her They keep your feet warm and dry without overheating them. The boots are fairly light/medium weight. Not the heavy ones you typically get from most other brands. However, the workmanship is fantastic! Every stitch is perfect, these boots are of the highest quality. Our 9 year old loves the colors. Bright and beautiful, but no frills. Boots can be worn under jeans or over leggings. They're not very long. However, our kid wore them in winter pants in deep snow while hiking in the Rocky Mountains. They were perfect and didn't let snow or water in. The sole is flexible enough, the material of the boot is soft enough, it doesn't rub or pinch anything. Because of our location, our family bought a lot of winter boots. We really like them and will be buying the same boots for years to come.
