This is my second Ninja coffee maker. I've been using one of the older models for a number of years after throwing away my Keurig. It has served me well, but I chose this newer model because of the propellant included. My old one came with a jar with a manual frother that worked fine, but it's a lot easier with one attached. Overall the coffee is still delicious. I used to use paper filters, but this model came with a mesh filter. I can feel a little difference when using this one over paper (I've tried both on my new machine). I find that the screen filter tastes cleaner. It's hard to describe, but it's the best I can do. One of the downsides of this machine is that it is very large. Probably 50% larger than my old one, so I needed to make more room on my already cluttered counter. I assume the extra size is due to the motor for the blower. If not, then this design falls short in the space-saving category. The coffee pot grind area is easier to use than my old one. This one folds out to the left instead of popping straight out, and there's a top compartment that slides out easily for washing so I don't have to remove the entire section like the old one. The water tank can also be removed more easily without twisting and blocking. Just come in. There are 2 additional size settings on this machine. A very large mug and a very large travel mug. A travel mug is very good as it fills my large mug that I take with me on long trips. I have prepared all types of coffee such as classic, full-bodied, iced and signature. The machine is quieter than my old one and cooks faster. As mentioned, the coffee is excellent. I have a problem with the foamer. Probably my mistake in understanding what it does. I have an espresso machine that uses tank water to create steam for frothing. The milk warms up during the process. I assume it did something similar, but it didn't. If you want warm milk, you need to heat it in the microwave before frothing it. Otherwise the frother will only make cold foam. This is normal as I can heat the milk while the coffee is being made. But it would be nice if they added the ability to heat milk while frothing in the future model. My only other complaint is that I can't find a storage clip or place for a frothing nozzle. The measuring spoon has one so I figured there would be one for the bait. No luck unless I'm blind. But overall another great coffee maker that I hope will be with me for many years to come.
