If you have a DLSR and high capacity memory cards use this is required thing. The speed of this thing is insane. I've suffered through an old USB card reader before and it's much faster, especially with newer cards. The only thing to keep in mind is that not all USB-C ports operate at the highest speeds. The newer your computer or tablet, the higher the transfer speed you will see. If you don't need faster transfer speeds, you can get a cheaper card reader, although a faster card reader will give you more value in the long run. The build quality appears to be good, although I only have two weeks. All in all, this is a good product for those with higher capacity cards and a new computer or laptop.
