Load Pro Card The Reader is the perfect accessory for my MAC book. This solved the problem with extra cables and supports newer SD cards. I've played around with adapter-to-adapter patch cords in the past, and since this one supports both HC and XC SD cards, I have a reader for all my needs.

UHS I and UHS II There aren't many of them, and some of them cost over $100. After a few days of searching I came across this one by Lasden. I don't usually buy a product that only has 2 or 3 reviews, but the reviews I saw were very positive, so I decided to give it a try. So far, I am very satisfied. The device is well thought out and compact. I've used it for both SD and Micro SD cards (previously UHS I) and it works flawlessly. I highly recommend this reader.

Purchased to read maps from various sources. I have a drone and a trail camera and I can read them on my phone in the field. It works well. Connected to Samsung Note 9, reads files with no problem, plays videos. Connected it to my computer via a USB-C dock and copied a 700MB movie from the card in about 12 seconds. Works with full size SD cards as well as the ones we put in phones.
