Fixcode P0026 immediately, my 2006 Volvo S40 2.4i ran all the time; In the 2000-3000 rpm range there was an obvious improvement in engine performance, performance and sound, and the claimed gas mileage increased by at least 1mpg. I wish I had bought this sooner, the gas savings alone would have paid for it a few months ago. Very easy to install (at least on my car, just under the cam belt cover), just make sure you remove the bottom gasket from the old one or it won't fully seat.
