Review on πŸ’‘ Revolutionary Deformable Ceiling Lighting for Enhanced Warehouse and Workshop Illumination by Francisco Yim

Can't comment on durability yet but I really like this one

I have a 1970's house with a 2 car garage. I've seen many houses like mine with a single power outlet on the ceiling in the middle. Seriously, was there an incandescent light bulb back then that could adequately illuminate a garage this size? When I bought my house in 2000, CFLs were just starting to become popular. I bought a 4-in-1 lamp converter and put in (4) equivalent 60 watt CFLs. It was a decent improvement. As CFL technology progressed I went to (4) 100 watt equivalents and eventually I had a 300 watt equivalent CFL bulb. But my garage isn't heated, and we all know that CFLs take a long time to reach full brightness, especially in cold weather. When we go to the garage, we usually only have a minute to get something. On a good day I have to wait 5 minutes for the light to come on at full brightness. So if I spend just a minute or two at a time in the garage, there is as much light in the garage as the equivalent of a 60 watt incandescent bulb if I'm lucky. This LED garage light is a game changer. It provides light to (2) equivalent 300 watt CFLs with no waiting time. Being able to point the 3 light panels where I want is amazing. The entire garage is illuminated almost evenly. Even if I have to replace it every year (I can't say anything about durability yet), I'm completely satisfied.
