I bought another set that was 8 gauge and looked more like 14 gauge. I have a very expensive 8 gauge oxygen free copper wire of almost the same diameter. I used this for an inexpensive additional install and it worked great. RCA cables look cheap and I've decided not to use them and go with a better cable. But I was impressed with the connectors that came with it, as well as the wire, although it's not real copper wire. The wire was very soft and flexible for a copper clad aluminum wire. Probably one of the best CCA cables I've ever used. I recommend this for an inexpensive setup. If you're building a high-end system, you probably won't even look at this kit. I would have no hesitation in recommending any wire from KnuKonceptz and trying their copper wire.
