As the name suggests, it looks like Slyvania has seen the light of day and updated the product so both devices have full functionality. Just received our set and they have USB and SD ports on both. In addition, any device can be played on both screens. My units are marked 'A' and 'B' so it doesn't look like I accidentally received two 'A' units. I tested it from the DVD with no problems. I don't have a playable video file but I can see the SD selection screen on both screens. including the message "Codec not available" for MP4. I bought this set to replace a set of 7" RCAs we've had for 3 or 4 years and now sometimes have trouble reading discs on one unit or the other. We drive 14 hours one way over Christmas so I didn't want to hassle with a DVD player in the middle and wanted to buy whatever I could find or could do without.So far I'm reasonably happy with this purchase.PROS:- great functionality - nice screen. Puts old to shame - a great price even if you don't factor in retail prices. CONS: - doesn't play MP4 - the straps really need a buckle. I'll probably steal them from old players, but that's a serious oversight for a price of 10 cents. Part. It's a bit tricky with multiple sources from 2 devices. Our children are not yet old enough to read and operate the screen. So when we want to switch between movies on the fly, my wife or I have to pull the "master" device off the seat and start the video and then reconnect it while driving. It would be great if they had Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and had an Android control app. Of course that would be a huge improvement. I haven't experimented much with in-place reboots, so if we can't get a good result there, it's also going to cause pain.
