Review on ☕ Zojirushi EC-DAC50 Zutto 5-Cup Drip Coffeemaker: Sleek Silver Design for Effortless Brewing by Maria Campbell

I've had one of these for ten years and liked it. But after ten years of use I wanted to replace it, so I ordered another one (because the first one was great). I've had it for a few weeks now and unfortunately the carafe is leaking badly. At first I thought I positioned it that way, but I changed the position and tried a few things and finally noticed that it was leaking out of the tape on top which wasn't supposed to seal properly. I no longer have the packaging to return, otherwise I would have done it. I usually keep the packaging but as this was a product I have used and loved before I didn't keep it this time. I'm not sure if the leak is just from this carafe or if it's a common occurrence so I'm posting this review as a warning. It makes great coffee, and since I don't want to pay for a replacement I'll probably just use duct tape to seal it properly. Not the best solution and I hope the manufacturer reads this and can improve it.
