Works great on my hair but I mainly use it for quick drying after the shower. I have used a Revlon 1875W travel hair dryer for over 5 years and was ready for an upgrade. I didn't want to spend $500 on a hair dryer so after much research and shopping I settled on this one. Boy did that change my life! We've halved our post-shower drying time by using a drying towel and now the towel can last a few days longer without having to replace it! However, this is the heavier side of "light". So if you have weak hands and thick hair that takes a long time to dry, I don't know if I recommend this particular model.
