As expected, the magnetic board isn't particularly fancy, but it doesn't feel too bad. The knives themselves are very comfortable, have a good grip (much better than expected) and I have not noticed any problems. They're pretty sharp, but not the best I've ever used. I'm not a professional chef either, but I've worked in several kitchens in the past. That's what I expected for the money and can't complain. If so, I probably just need to understand that I need to spend more money on high-end knives. All in all I think it's pretty decent for everyone, but I've only been using them for about a month, maybe a little longer.
