It's probably because my old toaster was SO lemony, but I really like this baby - especially because it heats up very, very quickly. What else can you say about a toaster? Well, it cooks evenly and fairly quickly, and it has three grill positions, which is pretty handy and unusual in my experience. The oven and grill functions turn off after just 30 minutes, so keep this in mind; Of course, there's a Stay On attitude. Cleverly, the elements are protected by perforated metal and spaced about three inches from the inside front and back edges (unlike many others with open elements right on the edges - not smart), allowing for much more even toasting and cooking. It emits a lot of heat, which perhaps could have been avoided with a different glass, and the settings and numbers are a little hard to read. And it's not fancy looking. But for the money, this is a very worthwhile purchase.
