My old night lights had bulbs that died after 2 days of use after being turned on ten years ago. After a few uses, these do not burn your hands at all, but only feel slightly warm. 25 is a bit excessive for only 3 night lights, but it's definitely worth it if you're buying them "used" at around $9-$13. The bottle is made of toughened plastic, not glass, so it's unlikely to break in transit. There really aren't any cons, only pluses: significantly less heat, less energy consumption, brighter than incandescent bulbs and much more durable. They appear to be dimmable but do flicker a bit in things that use light sensors. The reason is probably that there's enough light at night to trigger the sensor, but when it gets darker it turns it back on and the cycle unfortunately repeats until daylight.
