Ineffective for my opinion

The malleability of the fabric portion of this color around the neck allows the animal wearing it to scrunch/bend it back revealing their face in ears and allowing them to reach around it to scratch ultimately making the product an effective.

Lightweight enough for pets to wear all day

Cons

Can cause the dog to become anxious or fearful of the collar
