Adjustable Small Dog Cone – Lightweight Elizabethan Collar For Post-Surgery Recovery (Blue) Review

Bought this for my cat when he had a paw injury. It is great, because the cone part is nice and stiff and so he can't bend it and get around it. But the fabric part near his neck is soft and flexible like a sweatshirt sleeve, so he seems to find it reasonabley comfortable. It is easy to put on and even easier to take off.

we really liked this collar for our chihuahua. it’s much easier to get on and had a better width/length for her small head. It worked well for 2 weeks but then was really stretched out to the point she kept slipping out and so we had to replace it. it would be better if the adjustable sizes were smaller increments too as it was either way small or a tad large. overall much better than the collar the vet provided

I have a love/hate relationship with this thing. I got it for my cat who has dermatitis. Well, the cat's fur is growing back, but the cat licks the cone ALL the time.You just don't understand how that rasp-rasp-rasp sound can cut through the quiet, slither down into your brain, and start terrorizing you.Rasp-rasp-rasp. We bought this product after adopting an animal from the animal shelter. The animal had just been spayed, and we were informed that we needed to provide a cone to protect it from licking the wound. When we received this item, I was very impressed by the softness of the neck color. It did not hurt the animal at all, and seemed to provide the necessary protection. I would recommend this product.

6.7-9 inches worked perfectly for our 14 pound Miniature Schnauzer who had a wound by her eye that would not heal because she kept scratching it. Well worth the $6.89 we paid. This is a good buy, a bit on the heavy side if you have a very small or little head animal. My one kitty has a very difficult time holding her head up with this collar on, the other kitty does fairly well. Didin't know if this would work on my10lbs cat but it does. It's a good choice rather than that hard plastic cone the vet gives you. It does move around a little but it doesn't irritate his neck. I do have to warn him before I snap it because he startles easily and he's fine with that. Gotta say, he's looking quite handsome with his blue polka dot collar. It's bad enough he has to wear it but this does help him get through it.

The malleability of the fabric portion of this color around the neck allows the animal wearing it to scrunch/bend it back revealing their face in ears and allowing them to reach around it to scratch ultimately making the product an effective.

The size and fit is perfect, the only complaint I have is that the one button around the neck portion of the collar that fits my dogs neck wouldn't snap. I don't want to go through the hassle of returns, so I used a safety pin as the cone has buttons as well. Still a little disappointed.

I used this on our cat that cannot bring herself to stop pulling her fur out after her bath. It's perfect for that. The snap adjustment is simple and secure, and the collar material is soft yet water resistant with little enough contact to allow her fur to dry. I'm glad I got this one.

This cone was much bigger than what I expected or wanted. I’m not happy at all-the pictures showed it as much smaller. I have a very small grown cat, and this is too big.

The collar was sturdily made but my dog slipped it right off his head. The collar needs loopholes on the neck end so dog’s collar can be run through it.

Great product, soft around the neck yet sturdy everywhere else. My dog figured out how to fold his soft cone so I have to get this one so he cannot fold it. Only problem is that when removing, the unsnapping noise is so loud that my dog jumped each time I remove it and tries to run. Since I remove twice a day to brush him, it’s a lot of work. That’s the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

I got this because my cat is getting depressed of the hospital cone. This one is more open and allow her to move around easier. Just need to clean it every day.
