Review on Beron Eco Friendly Laundry Ball Washings by Jason Havens

Pseudoscientific scam - please don't fall for it!

Followed directions and washed a couple of towels and a pair of white shorts in warm water and nothing smelled fresher or looked cleaner. It looked like the clothes were swirling in the water. The Wikipedia article on laundry balls explains very well how they use pseudoscientific claims to trick consumers into buying, and they really don't work any better than just washing with hot water. I wish I had read this earlier. It's all a bunch of bs. Don't buy this. To be honest I'm so disappointed in myself I was stupid enough to fall for it. I guess I was so hopeful that something like this could exist that I just had to try it, but as expected, it's too good to be true. People who claim to see cleaner clothes after wearing them only get these results because they have used the recommended hot water, which alone, perhaps with a golf ball added to a machine to mimic the mechanical action of those balls, does the same thing would effect most, but will never deep clean. If you're worried about the environment, just use natural detergent! This thing doesn't even save energy because you have to use hot water to get results. Of course, it won't harm sensitive skin BECAUSE IT DOES NOT ADD WATER OR DO ANYTHING. AND REMEMBER THE RETURNS POLICY as returns are not allowed as they are clearly not intended to keep customers happy with the product. Please don't fall for it like me.

Pros
  • For best performance, expose your laundry ball to the sun for a few hours each month to regenerate your Mioro ceramic balls.
Cons
  • New competitors appeared
