I installed the Renu on a tanning socket and it looks great. See attached photo. Now I will complete the room with it. No complaints. There are places in my house where I will not install Renu and will use standard devices. The Renu device (switch, socket, etc.) and the Renu wall plate must be connected together. You are property. Standard wall plates and devices will not work. Renu looks good on a fairly flat wall and a properly installed box. Renu does not forgive mistakes if the socket (or junction box) is installed incorrectly or has other defects. Because the plate snaps into place at the top and bottom of the unit, there will be gaps when installing on a poorly installed box or on an uneven wall.
