Will not fit hose with ¼ " ID
These barbs are good quality but not for ¼" ID hose. They are too small. The spike penetrates the hose with no friction. The barb should take some force to slide into the hose. It looks like this looks like they are actually made for 6mm ID metric tubing, which is probably the standard in China. Don't expect a tight seal with them. I've attached photos comparing one of these devices to a real ¼" Show ID hose tail.
