Initially I was drawn to the two-tone colors. The red looks fabulous on a cloudy rainy day. It stands out in a sea of black umbrellas. The second point is the claim that it's less like to turn inside-out - which is horrible when this happens. Lastly the push to open and the push to close is so convenient. The only negative is the fact that once you close it, you have to push it together like an accordion (to shorten it) and you have to use force. A kid, elderly, or otherwise weak person may find this difficult. I'd give this a solid 4.5 rating.
