First I would like to say that the quality of the shoes looks great and the return policy and process is the best I have seen. So I can't blame it. But I should have taken some of the sizing comments more seriously. Instead, I used the sizing recommendation on the product website. In my entire adult life I have never worn any shoe other than an 11 1/2. So when I answered the question if I always wear this size, I said yes and was told to order an 11 1/2 (45). Unfortunately, they run small so the toes rest on the forefoot - not the best option for cycling shoes. My feet fit most size 11 1/2 shoes so if you are on the bottom of 11 1/2 this size will probably fit. However, if you are in the middle and upper part, choose 12 (46).
