Not recommended for serious riders

Great when I'm not on the bike but disappointing when I'm riding. Walking the rocks was comfortable and mostly confident. But it was difficult to engage (at first I thought it was a break-in period) and later found that the mounting bracket in the shoe had failed causing the cleat to twist (the attached photo is just a small representation of how wrong it is) . Not recommended for the serious rider.

What I love about these shoes is the ability to walk.

What I like about these shoes is the ability to walk without having to click the cleats. The cleat attachment on the bottom is built into the cavity so the rubber of the outsole is higher than the cleat when the cleats are installed. It's not perfect, however, and they still click a little, but walking in them feels more natural. The shoes are also very stiff and difficult to put on but light weight which is nice. Another benefit is that they don't look or feel like cycling shoes, so I don't…

Shoe Sizing Info

First I would like to say that the quality of the shoes looks great and the return policy and process is the best I have seen. So I can't blame it. But I should have taken some of the sizing comments more seriously. Instead, I used the sizing recommendation on the product website. In my entire adult life I have never worn any shoe other than an 11 1/2. So when I answered the question if I always wear this size, I said yes and was told to order an 11 1/2 (45). Unfortunately, they run small so…

Better than expected; I wish it would fit my feet

I've noticed that most cycling shoes fit the narrow side of my US size 12 feet; I ordered 46 which was too small for me. The build quality of these shoes is above average, but not quite on Shimano level. Again, flat pedal cycling shoes don't last like mountain bike shoes, although you can use them as mountain bike shoes. Tuxedos are usually black for a reason; The all black color and design of these shoes looked elegant on my feet. If you walk in shoes in my apartment, you could walk in them…

Excellent hold! for men

I bought these shoes for outdoor riding and wanted a rubber sole with good grip. You are perfect for this requirement! They look like regular cross training shoes with a notch for SPD. There is no connection with the SPD and the ground, which is ideal for me! This allows you to quickly stop and disengage without worrying about slipping and hitting the pavement. They are great and the polar opposite of my high performance cycling shoes with hard plastic bottoms and exposed cleats. I use them for

Sizing of Tommaso Milano men's commuter/spin bike shoes.

Tommaso Milano Men's Commuter/Spin Bike Shoes - 43 Hello! Very good quality shoes. I really like her! But they didn't fit me. For the last 35 years I've bought shoes in size 43, so Tommaso Milano men's cycling shoes for commuting and cycling have also bought size 43EU. They were really small for me! I'm very disappointed. It's a pity that there are no sizing recommendations on the site. 1. Solder the foot to a piece of paper. Measure the length in cm.4. Select the desired size in cm from the…

Love laces hate velcro perfect fit

After 40 years of use I'm switching to standard pedals for reasons beyond the scope of this review. I wanted hard-soled lace-up shoes. (Yes, I could detach the SPD spikes from my existing boots and tape the windows from the inside, but I still had to buy a new pair.) Love these shoes. This is my first Tommaso product and they fit and feel better than any of my previous shoes from other companies. (I bought these for the laces and the discounted price. Also, the seller is known for a great…

Unique cycling shoes

I have been riding exercise bikes for many years but have never bought shoes. I just left my regular running shoes and used cages on the pedals. But as part of my recovery from recent foot surgery, the doctor told me to wear cycling shoes to get back into rotation sooner rather than later. But the main reason I put off buying shoes all these years was because I hated the way they looked (velcro, ear clips, and weird colors). Then I found these Tommaso Milano shoes and they looked very cool…

Doesn't look like cycling shoes but is difficult to lace up

One of the reasons I bought these cycling shoes is because they don't look like cycling shoes. They look like athletic shoes (like tennis shoes) and look beautiful. The cleats are also recessed so the cleats don't touch the surface when walking off a bike. I find that the recessed lugs make it a bit difficult to secure the pedals. When attaching the cleats to the shoes I had to use the two screw holes on the back to center the cleats in the recess (see image). There is also a nice elastic strap
