I bought this smart lightbulb for $4 because I thought it was very cheap compared to my Sengled smart lightbulb. However, this pear is inferior in many ways and in the end I had to return it despite the good price. 1) I can't connect 2 out of 3 lightbulbs. I've done a manual reset many times and even installed a lightbulb next to a SmartThing hub only to have the lightbulb set. 2 lightbulbs do not connect despite best efforts. 2) The reset method was too complicated. You have to switch off and on in a very specific rhythm. My Sengled lightbulb only needs to be cycled a few times to trigger a reset. Much more intuitive 3) Finally, the lamp is set to remember the last state when the power is turned off. This makes the wall switch useless as you can't turn on the lightbulb if you turn it off from the app. This configuration only works really well when the light is permanently plugged in and on. Personally, I find Sengled's lamp configuration much better. With a Sengled lamp, the lamp does not remember its last state and will always turn on if you turn the power off and then on again. This is much more appropriate for most installations.
