QA should have repaired the scratched surface by now. How many customers have complained? It's sad when you have a great product, but simple things keep the brand from being accessible. The scratches were on the top of the loaf pan where I expected the loaves to rise and turn over so I just returned them. It has its uses and I'm sure more experienced bakers can name a few. I would imagine it would be more beneficial for rich dessert cakes than a loaf of banana bread. If you're like me and not sure what size you need, 1lb is small so double check the measurements you want!
