For heaven's sake, check the tile first. This product may work well, but instructions are what nightmares are made of. There are two cryptic sentences on the bottle. Online videos are actually different from printed ones. I did my best to follow the directions and applied a heavy bead the first time, thinking it would be a paint that would rub off the tile and soak into the grout. First failure - upon further investigation it turned out to be a stain/seal. A VERY BIG DIFFERENCE, because the seal stays different from the stain. Based on online tutorials on Pinterest and YouTube I wasn't afraid it would stick to the tile but thought I could wipe it off easily. nope So I spent HOURS cleaning every grout line in my bathroom trying to get rid of it because it JUST WON'T STAY TO THE FLOOR. Then I had nasty leftovers that made my tile even worse. I knew from the positive feedback this had to be user error, but I was literally bored to death with every guide I could find. The thing didn't last. Wet method, dry, no. Soak overnight, one hour, 30 minutes, 5 minutes. nope The reviews were so mixed and I realized about 15% of them have the same problem. Well I did a lot of research and ended up going to a tile shop and found that SOME WAYS REQUIRED TO REMOVE THE SEAL FROM IT ALREADY. Literally not mentioned anywhere. Once you remove the existing sealant it finally sticks and works as it should. If only it were mentioned somewhere in a product material it could save me so many hours of scrapping and pondering that I do with my life because no sober person should spend that much time hugging the toilet. If I could give less than one I would - so much of my life has been wasted on this product. I highly recommend the tile shop in Cary, NC. They sell sealant and sealant remover.
