This device provides decent amplification for your iPhone or iPad and fills an entire room. It didn't connect to my TV which is why I bought it but I was wrong in assuming the TV had Blue Tooth. The most annoying thing is that it does a double ping every 5 minutes or so. It took me days of midnight trouble to figure out what was making the noise. Since this thing has battery life, simply unplugging it from the mains isn't enough to wipe out the sonar echoes. I don't know what caused this and how to fix it, but maybe other users figured it out.
