I usually buy Bosch or Champion spark plugs when for some reason I can't buy them. I choose NGK like the other brands I mentioned. They are reliable, have a decent price and stable quality. With these brands, you know you're getting good quality items that will last you a while. I've used them for years without needing to be replaced, a good cleaning is often enough but as with anything else you may need to replace them and when you do you can buy them with confidence that they will get the job done. Things you can buy cheap, other things don't choose cheaper, especially when the price difference is only a few dollars. For spark plugs, I feel that a few bucks more by buying brand name gives you stable and reliable quality, while cheaper spark plugs are prone to cracking, can't handle heat, etc., and you'll need to replace them more frequently, and in the end, the "savings" you wanted to make cost you more. So don't skimp on spark plugs, buy something that's proven to work.
