I recently bought a house with a trash compactor and have experimented with different bags and found there is a wide range of quality and price. These bags are good quality and more than enough for my Kenmore compactor. They are quite large so the length is more than enough to tie when full. These pouches have a fairly smooth texture compared to other pouches I've used, but that wasn't an issue. Bags come from a perforated roll, not a folded stack, at all costs. I thought they might sink into the compressor after a few compression cycles, but due to the length of the bag they hold their position well. These pouches have no buttonholes on the side to keep them in place. I don't feel the need to have holes on the side to hold them in place, but those that have them should be aware that these pockets don't have them. For a bag quarter, the pros and cons of height, holes, thickness, and texture become irrelevant IMO. Robust, high and inexpensive. Thats all I need. Oh, and the manufacturer provides customer service! Fast, friendly, professional customer service. That's nice. I'm a fan.
